Which modules do I take?
Goizueta personnel (i.e., faculty, staff, students) would typically take the modules for Social Behavioral Researchers. Emory requires the completion of a set of six (6) “core” modules plus an institutional module by all persons on a research project. The institutional module (a test of rules and regulations that are specific to Emory) does not require a quiz at this time. Additional modules may be required based on your particular research project (i.e., research with prisoners, children, or in public schools).
Do I have to take it all at once?
No. The entire training program does not have to be completed in one session. You are encouraged to view the course material using multiple login sessions. There are no time constraints. You may visit the site as many times as necessary to complete all of the modules. Individual modules generally take between 10 and 35 minutes to complete. Quizzes can be taken more than once.
What if I get a question wrong?
You must achieve a passing rate of >85%. To determine your score, add up the total points you scored and divide by the total possible points for only (all) modules you have completed.
Do you have any study guides?
Yes. Please contact human_subjects_review@bus.emory.edu to request one.
