New Student Accounts
Please visit this page for the information you need to set up your Goizueta accounts.
Please follow the Required Steps to the right to set up your Goizueta accounts (starting at Step 1).
You should receive information from the BBA Program Office on how to set up your Goizueta accounts. If not, please follow the Required Steps to the right on this page starting with Step 1 if you are new to Emory (starting at Step 2 if you were enrolled here before). Remember that your BUS courses will not be on LearnLink, but will be on FirstClass or perhaps another LMS that your instructor will tell you about. For those of you who also have a LearnLink account, that is the same software used for FirstClass. Just remember that you will have to switch servers on your LearnLink Login screen (Address field) to access the Goizueta FirstClass system. Our server is fc.bus.emory.edu. The LearnLink server is fc.learnlink.emory.edu. You'll have to switch back to that server to access any Emory College courses that may be on LearnLink.
About two weeks before the classes begin each semester, we will start processing BUS course enrollment. If you are enrolled, we will create a course conference account on the Goizueta FirstClass system, a network account for you to login to the Goizueta network, and a Goizueta Facebook account (internal system, not Facebook.com). You will receive a "Welcome" message in your Emory e-mail account with these same instructions. That's how you'll know your GBS accounts have been created. For non-GBS students (Emory College, LAW, PUBH, MED, GSAS, ARCHE, cross-enrolled, transient, etc.), if you drop all of your BUS courses, your Goizueta accounts will be deleted after drop/ add has ended for this semester.
To retrieve your account username and password and to view instructions on how to use your Goizueta accounts, click on the "How to Use Your GBS Accounts" link in the left margin here and print those instructions. Then, complete the Required Steps on the right side of this page starting at Step 1 if you are new to Emory (starting at Step 2 if you are a returning student). You will be asked to select three security questions so that you can reset your GBS password in the future and then you will be asked to choose your own password. It’s a good idea to make it the same as your permanent OPUS/Emory password from Step 1- they are not automatically synced.
To access FirstClass, you may login to the "light" web version here (click on Login), or you may download the full-featured client version using Step 3 on this page. You may also utilize the FirstClass mobile apps listed here.
Your Goizueta FirstClass account is only for accessing your BUS course conferences if your instructor is using FirstClass as their LMS (learning mgmt system). He/she may be using a different LMS, so please check with them on that. All of your external e-mail, University mail, and any FirstClass internal messages you may receive will all be sent to your Emory e-mail address (@emory.edu).
You'll have to switch back to that server to access any Emory College courses that are on LearnLink.
For non-GBS students such as yourselves, your Goizueta accounts will only exist while you are currently enrolled in BUS courses. So if you do not enroll in BUS courses next semester (not counting Summer semester), your GBS accounts will be deleted after drop/add ends that semester. If you re-enroll in the future, you will receive a brand new account if applicable.
