465 - Cross-cultural Business Communication

To succeed in today's cross-cultural workplace you need an understanding of cultural differences and how those differences impact communication styles. In Cross-cultural Business Communication, you will learn to identify behaviors that illustrate cultural roots and learn strategies for success in both written and spoken communication with people from other cultures. In-class workplace simulations provide an opportunity to learn by doing. You will become aware of and sensitive to cultural differences in communication and develop a personal style of communicating with those from other cultures. As your understanding of cultures grows, you will better understand your own culture, particularly in terms of communication behaviors.
