PRS (Personal Response System) combines interaction and assessment to enhance classroom productivity. Using a wireless RF transmitters, all students can answer questions and record their responses with a simple click of a button. Results are instantly charted and displayed for real-time student feedback and lesson refinement — allowing you to make the most of your class time.
In a nutshell, PRS allows each member of the audience to respond anonymously to a question or prompt, the responses are collected, and the summarized results are displayed in a Chart for all to see. PRS interacts with PowerPoint as an add-in and allows you to create questions as a PowerPoint slide and set parameters for each question, such as: True/False, Multiple Choice, and Time Limit Responses. The student responds remotely using a compact pocket-size RF transmitter. The transmitter is simple to use and no special training is required.
SET-UP: The PRS software connects via laptop and a USB receiver.
Interested faculty should contact Information Services. For first-time users, this should be done at least two months before your class begins. Students will need to purchase their PRS clickers from the Emory Bookstore.
