

Goizueta Business School (GBS)
GBS Case Classrooms
The Goizueta Building has eight tiered case classrooms each with a teaching capacity of 66 students. These classrooms underwent technology uplifts in summer 2007.. All case classrooms in the Goizueta Building have:
Three movable blackboard surfaces.
An entra-wide whiteboard which doubles as a projection and writing surface.
Data and power connectivity to the desktop.
Wireless coverage.
CATV feed from Emory Television featuring 38 channels.
Moveable shades and lighting controlled from the teaching lectern.
Wall phone.
Case classrooms also have audio and video feeds to the AV control room on the first floor of the Goizueta building which allows for distribution of video to all classrooms, from one classroom to another or specific rooms.
Technology includes an instructor lectern with Crestron 6.4” touch panels for power up and environmental control (lighting and shades) and a Sympodium 17” interactive pen display monitor for PC and AV input control.

Read/writeable DVD/ VCR combo unit.
Desktop PC.
Network and Internet connectivity.
Auxilliary connects (Aux, USB, audio, Network).
From the Sympodium faculty can:
Choose any of several inputs (PC, laptop, CATV, document camera, DVD, VCR, other) to display on the large projection screen in the front of the room.
Annotate whatever is being projected using the Sympodium and save these slides.
GBS Flat Classrooms
Two flat teaching classrooms accommodate up to 36 students. Capabilities are similar to those in the case classrooms. Technology includes the following:
A single ceiling mounted projector.
Instructor lectern with PC and network connectivity:
Read/writeable DVD/ VCR combo unit.
A Sympodium 17” interactive pen display monitor
Desktop PC.
Network connectivity.
Auxilliary connects.
GBS Distance Learning Classroom
The Goizueta Business School MBA Suite classrooms consist of a multipurpose lounge (GBS210) with completely outfitted service kitchen, buffet area and drink refrigerators. Adjacent to this room is the distance learning classroom (GBS 208). This is a tiered case classroom which seats 76. Room controls, multimedia lectern and technology is the same as all case classsrooms in the Goizueta Building with two exceptions. This room differs in that it has two ceiling mounted projectors and is outfitted for two way video conferencing and distance learning. Cameras are located in the front and rear of the room for video projection. Microphones are placed at each seat for audience interaction.
GBS Boynton Auditorium
The Boynton Auditorium, located on the first floor of the Goizueta Business School, accomodates 195 attendees. This room is adjacent to the media control room set up for webcasts and professional level video capture. The room is used for teaching and high profile events. Two large cameras in the rear of the room and a wall mounted camera in the front of the room are used for video directed and filmed by AV professionals. The room has ceiling mounted speakers for audio pickup from the audience. Lectern and AV technology is the same at the case classrooms with the exception that it can be moved aside for special events. The room also has a moveable curtain.
Goizueta Foundation Center (GFC)
GFC Flat classrooms
Four flat teaching classrooms W444 seating 20 and, W520, W521 and W523 seating 12. These rooms each have a large table with seating around the table. A ceiling mounted projector connects to to the controls on the table top and an instructor cabinet in the back corner. Most people use their notebook and teach from the table.

Separate PC in the cabinet with DVD and VCR.
Notebook connectivity from the table.
Wireless and wired network access.
GFC Case Classrooms
The Goizueta Foindation Center has four tiered teaching classrooms W131, W100 each accomodating 75 students and, W300 and W330 each accomodating 68 students. Each of these rooms has two ceiling mounted high resolution projectors and a ceiling mounted document camera. The faculty lectern is equipped with a Crestron 19” control panel which also serves as the PC monitor. From the control panel faculty can:
Set room lighting.
Choose any of several inputs (PC, laptop, CATV, document camera, DVD, VCR, other) to display on either or both of two large screens in the front of the room.
Annotate whatever is being projected using the whiteboard and save these slides.
Dial out to teleconference with another location
A camera at the rear of the room can be used for video capture direct to VCR or to the AV master control room on the 4th floor.
