Windows 95/98 VPN Connection Guide

Before Beginning:
• Have your Windows 95/98 installation CD available.
• Determine whether or not the VPN adapter is already installed on your system:

2) Search the Device Name Column, if Microsoft VPN Adapter is listed, skip to Step C of this procedure.

IMPORTANT:
Recognize that, in all instances, a VPN connection is significantly slower than a typical connection, and your connection speed needs to be greater than a 56KB modem (DSL, IDSN, or cable modem). 56KB modems - or slower - are not recommended, as just the connect time could take up to 15 minutes.

You are returned to the main network Control Panel.
6. Click OK.
If you are prompted for the Windows 95/98 installation cd, insert it now.
