Basic Security

A security intrusion report is the official method of reporting suspicious activity occurring on a Goizueta Business School provided computer. Suspicious activity is any occurrence that affects, or has the potential to affect, the routine operation of your computer. If your computer is not operating properly, or you suspect that something is wrong, you need to rule out the possibility of problems with your systems' hardware, software, or network. If you then determine that the issue may be security related, please report it immediately.

Procedures to Report Suspicious Activity:

Create an email containing the following information:

1) Type Security Incident - High Priority in the subject line of the email, and send it to support_desk@bus.emory.edu.
2) The date the incident occurred.
3 ) A description of the incident.
4 ) Include your IP address, or the IP address of your attacker, if known.
5 ) Your contact information (name, email address, phone number and department).
